How can Welsh businesses have confidence in Labour’s economic mission?
Commenting following his exchange today with Vaughan Gething, Labour’s Economy Minister in the Senedd, Paul Davies MS, Welsh Conservative Shadow Economy Minister said:
“How can Welsh businesses have any confidence in a Labour Government that launches a renewed Economic Mission just to self-sabotage it by slashing funding to key areas touted within it?
“Wales ranks poorly for unemployment, economic inactivity, weekly earnings and GVA per head after 25 years of Labour mismanagement.
“Welsh Conservatives want to see employment targets married into economic policy to shift the focus toward job creation as opposed to Labour’s plans to create jobs for more politicians.”
