We are upgrading our power to stop cars.
DVSA is actively researching electric vehicle alternatives for our enforcement team. We are about to start trialling our first fully electric car, a Skoda Enyaq.
The car will start being used around the Ashford, Kent area from today, 11 December. It will be trialled in different locations around the country over the next year.
If you are asked to stop by this vehicle, be assured that it is a genuine DVSA vehicle and follow the instructions given.
Thank you.
