Welsh Labour plans to inflict harsher climate change policies on Wales
Commenting on the news the Deputy Minister has warned that as Wales tries to cut its carbon emissions there are more, and tougher, policies to come. Welsh Conservative Shadow Climate Minister Janet Finch-Saunders MS, said:
“I cannot believe the hubris from the Deputy Minister in this article. He has presided over a policy that has gained a record-breaking 440,000 signatures and counting. Yet, he still refuses to listen to the Welsh public.
People in Wales do not want harsh climate change policies forced on them. They are especially considering Labour’s lack of alternative public transport.
“It is important for a Government to take people with them on the journey to net zero, to understand the cause and the reason for change together. Threatening that worse is yet to come is irresponsible and will do nothing to encourage people to their cause.”
