Aberaman Pact Meeting 5 PM Thursday, 24 August at Cwmaman Top Club

The Cwmaman Aberaman Abercwmboi Pact Meeting to be held at 5  PM on the 24 of August at the Cwmaman Workmen’s & Social Club Glanaman Rd, Cwmaman, Aberdare CF44 6LA.

I expect off-road motorbikes will be discussed as it was at the last pact meeting, off-road motorbikes is the most discussed subject in the last 5 pact meetings and it is highlighted by the recent vandalism or antisocial behavior to Mikes field Aberaman.

Alun Michael South Wales Police and Crime Commissioner

AberdareOnline has written to Alun Michael South Wales Police and Crime Commissioner after the last pact meeting the subject of off-road motorbikes and other local issues our email of the 21st June 2023 that’s 48 working days and we have not received answers to questions put to the Police and Crime Commissioner.

Apparently the leader of Rhondda Cynon Taf council, said on BBC Wales Radio the council will have to trim back and “ultimately only do statutory things”.  So the leader of Rhondda Cynon Taf council made waves on the airwaves, proclaiming that the council’s resources must be streamlined, reserving efforts for the truly essential. An intriguing stance, isn’t it?

Why, oh why, does Rhondda Cynon Taf Council’s treasure chest of taxpayer gold contribute to a separate Police Force of Community Wardens?

After all, our benevolent taxpayers already fund the valiant Police, the ever-watchful Police Community Support Officers (PCSO), and the guardian of law and order – the Police and Crime Commissioner. Is this perhaps a grand performance, where Community Wardens grace the frame alongside PCSOs in picturesque photo shoots?
