Reporting potholes to the Council via a quick online process

Reporting potholes to the Council via a quick online process

So does anyone think potholes are a problem and a real danger around this area?

Potholes are more common this time of year following the cold and wet winter period, and we have extra teams on hand working to fix these.

You can report a pothole to us quickly online here.

We’ve allocated £4.8m for resurfacing schemes this year, while there is a separate budget to respond to issues that arise.

We use the improved weather in spring and summer to carry out much of this work.

Please use the link above – this is the quickest and easiest way to report potholes.

The A470

Please also be reminded that the A470 is the responsibility of the South Wales Trunk Road Agent and not the Council.

Potholes are a major problem but fixing the problem must be done safely for the workers who repair, the motorist and the public, a quick fix is not the way to go about it.

The contractors used by RCT Council, looking as the phograph below is there a need for contractors working for the council to be vetted more thoroughly when having the responsibility of working on public highways?
