The full Moon Public House Aberaman
AberdareOnline has written to the Council about the state of The full Moon Public House and received a response
The full Moon Public House apparently sold at auction what steps are you as local councillors taking within the council to get the new owners to clean up the frontage of this property?
At the moment it looks like a slum with boarded-up windows fly posters, rubbish and graffiti covering the walls.
Is the Full Moon as it is in line with the council's Tourist Strategy?
“The destination experience is at the heart of RCT tourism. RCT will provide a first class, positive and unique experience which visitors will want to repeat and tell others about.”
The building has been vacant since 2009 according to your planning department on 23 April 2013.
The council's response is below.
We refer to your Freedom of Information Request in respect of the former Full Moon Public House.
RCT Council’s response is set out below:
An Environmental Health Officer visited the former Full Moon Public House on the 10th of November 2022. It was confirmed that no immediate public health action was warranted but the Officer intends to write to the owner with regard to improving the appearance of the building and the future plans for the property.
There is a current planning application to convert this building into apartments (ref no:22/1279/10), more information can be obtained via the “Planning applications – Search the register” on the Council Website.
