We want your views on our proposals for a new statutory regime for managing disused coal tips.
Consultation description
The proposals aim to introduce a consistent approach to the management, monitoring, and oversight of disused coal tips. We are consulting on:
- a new legislative management regime for monitoring and maintaining disused coal tips; and
- establishment of a new public body to ensure compliance with and consistent delivery of a new management regime.
