Morning Police drug raids in the Rhondda
Police made arrests and recovered what are believed to be class A drugs during a police operation this morning.
Armed officers executed a series of raids targeting properties throughout the Rhondda valley, and also one in Neath.
Four men have been arrested and are currently in police custody.
In total, seven properties in Clydach, Penygraig and Neath, were targeted by officers who forced entry to carry out searches under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act, with the support specialist search teams and drugs dogs.
Substances believed to be cocaine and amphetamine were seized, along with cash.
Approximately 70 officers took part in the operation put in place to tackle the supply of illegal drugs in the Rhondda valley.
