RCT Council Bulk Waste Collections to be Reinstated
Based upon the availability of current resources, the Council will reinstate the collection of ‘Bulky Waste’ items for residents from Monday 27th April.
The collections will be limited to a restricted list of large bulky household items, which will only include large essential household items (e.g. mattresses, sofas, washing machines, cookers, furniture – not garden furniture/sheds etc.). ONLY the essential items listed will be collected during this time and items MUST be left at bin collection points, outside of property boundaries/gates or they WILL NOT be collected. These collections will be undertaken in-line with social distancing guidance and residents are asked to observe these requirements when placing items out for collection. The delivery of this service may be subject to change and disruption during the current period and therefore residents patience is appreciated during these circumstances.
The Council’s Community Recycling Centres remain closed in accordance with the public health restrictions currently in place.
