Clap For Our Carers
Our residents are once again being encouraged to take part in another huge round of applause to show our appreciation of all those working in the NHS, and across all frontline services, at such a difficult time.
Rhondda Cynon Taf Council is once again supporting the latest national ‘Clap For Our Carers’ campaign and urges all of our residents to clap their hands together at 8pm tonight (Thursday, April 9th) to thank all of those doctors, nurses, carers, GPs, pharmacists and all other NHS and medical staff, as well as social care staff, who are working so hard to help those people affected by Coronavirus.
It is also an opportunity to show our appreciation those on the frontline across a range of sectors, including retail, Emergency Services, and all of the Council’s own frontline staff who are working throughout all of this, collecting waste, keeping schools open, delivering community meals, caring for the elderly and vulnerable and co-ordinating the Council’s seven Resilience Centres, and so much more.
From the safety of your own homes, your gardens, front doors or balconies, at 8pm once again tonight, please join us as we say a massive THANK YOU to all of these wonderful people.
We would also encourage as many of you as possible to share your short videos with us on social media by tagging @RCTCouncil and just like last week, we will share your appreciation with all of our followers.
Let’s doing it again – all put our hands together at 8pm.
#ClapForOurCarers.
