It’s Rhondda’s turn for the ever-popular Emergency Services Family Fun Day.

It’s Rhondda’s turn for the ever-popular Emergency Services Family Fun Day.
South Wales Police and South Wales Fire and Rescue Service, with the help of many partners, are putting on a day of fun for all the family this Thursday (July 25).
There will be incredible displays from our police dogs and their handlers, and from the brave firemen and woman of South Wales Fire and Rescue Service.
You and your children will get the chance to get in the driving seat of some police cars and motorbikes and get a pic in the back of a police van – without being in trouble of course.
Cardiff Blues will be there with a giant inflatable playing cage – you can get your very own hands on the European Challenge Cup which they won last year!
There will be a performance from a long-time supporter of the event, Samantha Spragg, who’s graced stage and screen with her fabulous talents.
We’ll also have boxing demonstrations, face paints, crafts, stilt walkers and lots of freebies.
Local radio station GTFM will help to keep everybody moving, and the police band will be in full pomp, come rain or shine.
There will be so much to do this Thursday, so put it in your diary.

• Entry: Free
