RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL

(VARIOUS STREETS, ABERCWMBOI)

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2018

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council have made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.

 

The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed along the following:-

 

1. The unnamed road between Park View Terrace and Graig Crescent

 

It is expected to be in operation from 8th January 2018 to 20th January 2018 or until the works are completed

 

2. Richard Street, Abercwmboi

 

It is expected to be in operation from 22nd January 2018 to 3rd February 2018 or until the works are completed

 

The restriction is necessary to enable works to be executed on or near the road.

 

Access will be maintained for pedestrians but NOT for emergency service vehicles During the period of the closure the alternative route for vehicles is as follows:

 

1. From the southern side of the closure, proceed via Beech Terrace, Cromer Street and Park View Terrace to the northern side of the closure.

 

2. From the southern side of the closure, proceed via John Street, Mary Street and Jenkin Street to the northern side of the closure

 

The route for drivers travelling in the opposite direction is the reverse of the above.
