Post Office is proposing to move Godreaman Post Office to a new, nearby, location –
Premier, 31-32 Jubilee Road, CF44 6DD, with the same operator.
It is important that operators make the very best use of their resources to ensure future
sustainability of both their business and the Post Office service. Our
postmaster has identified an opportunity to move this branch into modern
premises whilst continuing to offer Post Office services and retail alongside.
There would be one serving point at the retail counter. The same products and services
would be available.
The proposed premises is 100 metres from the current branch at 15 Jubilee Road,
Aberdare, CF44 6DD.
Roadside parking is available near to the convenience store.
The proposed premises would have a wide automatic door with a threshold strip at the
entrance. Internally, there will be a hearing loop and space for a wheelchair.
Currently, there is a step at the entrance to the proposed premises; however subject to
planning permission, a permanent ramp would be installed at the entrance to provide
improved access for customers.
