(UNION STREET, TRECYNON, ABERDARE)
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.
The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit any person from causing any person to proceed along the following:
1. Union Street, Trecynon, Aberdare for its entire length
It is expected to be operative between the hours 0800 hours and 1600 hours on 5th December 2017 or until such time as the works are completed
The restriction is necessary to enable works to be carried out on or near the road.
Access will be maintained for pedestrians BUT NOT for emergency services
The alternative route for vehicles is as follows:
From the western side of the closure, proceed via Ebenezer Street, Mount Pleasant Street, Meirion Street, Bell Street to the eastern side of the closure
From the eastern side of the closure, proceed via Bell Street, Meirion Street, Mount Pleasant Street, Ebenezer Street to the western side
