A report CSSIW and SWP on sexual exploitation of children step and multi-agency working

There were 120 professionals attended the joint conference, including residential care providers and representatives of Welsh police forces, local authorities, the Welsh Government, the Children's Commissioner's office, CSSIW and the third sector.
Before the conference, expressed SWP increasing concern at the frequency with which they visit residential homes to deal with missing children and incidents of aggression and criminal damage.
Inspectorate Care and Social Services for Wales (CSSIW) is increasingly concerned about the high number of notifications about children's behavior and how they are to damage when exposed are children in the home.
Inspections of children's homes often cite high levels of staff turnover impact on children, and the difficulties in getting staff who are qualified to the required level.
The inspectors also aware of children being placed without agreeing on statutory services and therapeutic.
The conference was part of the response to the recommendations of CSSIW report of the Commissioner for Children 'The Right Care' (June 2016).
