BRAND NEW SEASON NOW ON SALE AT RCT THEATRES

Rhondda Cynon Taf Theatres play host to an exciting season of events this autumn.   The Coliseum Theatre Aberdare and The Park & Dare Theatre Treorchy have a jam-packed season of music, drama, comedy and family events.  From slapstick to stand–up, headline names to heart-stopping performances, magical children’s shows plus a traditional festive panto – they’ve got it all covered.

The Coliseum is the place to be this autumn with music from Showaddywaddy on Thursday 19 October, Wishbone Ash on Friday 20 October, The Quo Experience, a brilliant tribute to Status Quo, on Friday 10 November, legendary crooner Jack Jones on Wednesday 24 January, Money for Nothing, Europe’s number one Dire Straits tribute, on Friday 15 Februray and the ultimate soul and motown party The Magic Of Motown on Saturday 10 March.  The Park & Dare plays host to one of Scotland’s most successful singers Barbara Dickson on Saturday 30 September, closely followed by Welsh Stars Rydian, Richard & Adam on Thursday 19 October and the Magic Of The Beatles on Friday 10 November.

 

Drama lovers can chose from the West End smash hit comedy One Man, Two Guvnors at The Coliseum on Tuesday 17 October and The Park & Dare on Saturday 21 October or Everyman Theatre Group present Do Not Go Gentle at the Coliseum on Saturday 23 September, plus the moving drama Not About Heroes brings the horror of World War One to life at The Park & Dare on Tuesday 3 October.

 

 

Stand-up comedy comes from Drew Taylor and Steffan Evans, two rising stars on the Welsh comedy circuit , who bring their sharp observations to life in a brand new show Tales From Wales at The Park & Dare on Friday 13 October.

 

Families are spoilt for choice; the all-singing, all-dancing Channel 5 hit production Milkshake! Live – The Magic Storybook is at the Coliseum on Saturday 30 September, filled with all your favourite milkshake characters including Bob The Builder and Fireman Sam, this brand new live show is guaranteed to delight your little ones.  The ultimate Hallowe’en trick or treat show Crafty’s Creepy Castle, which is a ideal for ages 2 – 7, and is at the Coliseum on Friday 3 November, go in your scariest Hallowe’en costume, join the adventure and receive a special trick or treat present too!   Or you can enter Flossy & Boo’s Curiosity Shop at The Park & Dare on Friday 3 November, jam-packed with songs, stories and incredible characters this funny, colourful interactive show is ideal for ages 2 and over.
