Health Board launches a Patient Satisfaction and Experience Survey
Cwm Taf University Health Board has launched a new patient experience and satisfaction survey which seeks patient views regarding catering and cleanliness services.
The aim of the survey is to improve and enhance the patient experience and satisfaction during their visit to the health board.
Patients and visitors will be able to access the app via their smart phone, website or via a QR code. This information is displayed on posters on wards, in restaurants and in Bar Barista coffee shops throughout the health board. Alternatively, the links can be accessed upon returning home from hospital.
Russell Hoare, head of facilities said: “Your satisfaction and experience of our facilities and catering services is important to us and we value your feedback.
“All feedback will be reviewed and any action that is required to improve services will be taken forward.
“Everyone will have the opportunity to provide feedback. For people who haven’t access to the app, a member of the facilities staff will be available with a tablet device to assist and input the feedback.”
Chairman, Dr Christopher Jones said: “One of the best things about asking people is you get a straight answer.
“It is particularly important for our staff to know what our patients and carers really think of the service we provide.
“I really looking forward to the learning and I do not think we should ever be afraid of asking people the right question.”
