Extra £7m funding for Welsh Autism services,

The Welsh Government has announced £7 million of funding for the National Integrated Autism Service.

The announcement brings the total amount of funding to support austim services in Wales to £13 million up until 2021. Wales is the first UK country to offer a national service to provide lifetime support to children and adults with autism and their families. The innovative service will be rolled out across Wales by 2018 and will provide support for families and carers, help with transition from child to adult service provision and training for professionals.
