2017 Youth Work Excellence Awards

Nominations are now open for the 2017 Youth Work Excellence Awards!

The Youth Work Excellence Awards will take place in Cardiff on 23 June 2017. The evening is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate outstanding youth work projects and youth workers from across Wales.

This year there have been some changes to the categories of award. There are 10 categories in total, eight for projects, and two for individuals.

Award categories for outstanding youth work projects

  • Promoting employability skills.
  • Promoting cultures in Wales.
  • Promoting an active lifestyle.
  • Promoting health and wellbeing.
  • Supports engagement with formal education.
  • Arts, media and digital.
  • Promoting entrepreneurship.

Award categories for outstanding individuals.

  • Youth Worker.
  • Making a Difference – judged by young people

Nominations open on Wednesday 18 January and close at midnight on Wednesday 29 March.
