Thanks to the quick thinking of a member of the public a man has been arrested and charged for theft from a motor vehicle.
This morning the member of the public noticed a man had broken into his van in Ynysybwl and locked all the doors to stop the suspect leaving before police arrived.
Justin John Metcalfe, aged 44, from Ynysybwl was charged in relation to the offence has appeared in court.
