Abacare wins 10 year framework in RCT and Merthyr Tydfil to help more people

A CARE provider voted the UK’s most outstanding for two years running has been awarded a place on a 10 year framework to provide domiciliary care in the Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT) and Merthyr Tydfil areas to complement the award-winning services it provides elsewhere already (August, 2016).

Thousands of people are currently supported by Abacare in North, Mid and South Wales and following its successes in these areas it has now been awarded a place on the framework in RCT and Merthyr Tydfil.

Peter Angelides, CEO of the award-winning care organisation, said: “As an award-winning organisation, we’re currently looking for 100 staff members to join our team and are hosting recruitment days at Ty Menter, Navigation Park, Abercynon, CF45 4SN. The first date will be Wednesday, August 31, followed by further recruitment days on Thursday, September 1Wednesday, September 7 and Thursday, September 8 from 10am until 3pm.

“We’ve been operating at a very high standard for a number of years across Wales and have an excellent team of highly trained staff. This new contract means we are now looking to take on more staff in RCT and Merthyr to add to our current valued and highly motivated team.”

Due to its continued hard work and dedication to its sector, Abacare supports thousands of people to remain in their own homes. It provides an extensive range of services, from daily calls and sleep-ins to bespoke live-in care services.

We offer training, competitive rates, travel time for walkers and drivers, mileage payments, consistent hours and runs, a refer a friend scheme and national discount scheme for major brands.”
