UKIP Leader in Wales Nathan Gill’s response to shameful remark by Labour AM
In response to Pro-EU Swansea East Assembly Member Mike Hedges’s offensive remark made earlier today, Nathan Gill said:
“It’s shameful for anyone, let alone a Member of the Welsh Assembly to lower the tone of debate in a way that may be seen as offensive.
The vote on June the 23rd is a once in a life time opportunity. A vote to remain is a vote to continue to send £350 million to the EU every week, rather than spending it on our own priorities such as higher education and scientific research.
We will be stuck with the lack of transparency or accountability of EU institutions. We will continue to be unable to make our own free trade agreements with the wider world. It is safer to Vote Leave, to take back control, end the supremacy of EU law, and ensure our country has a prosperous and independent future.”
