St John say help Paint Wales Red campaign
Velindre is the biggest cancer hospital in Wales and we, as a school, have decided to support their 'Paint Wales Red' campaign on Friday 2nd February. Led by our Velindre Young Ambassadors Manon (year 9) and Freya (year 7) there will be fundraising activities throughout the week leading up to event including an art print sale each dinnertime (£6 each or 3 for £15), wristbands for sale supporting the campaign (£1 each) and a raffle (£1 a strip) with generously donated prizes from outside agencies such as the LC in Swansea and Escape rooms, Cardiff, as well as a framed Sam Warburton print. The week will culminate on Friday when pupils and staff are invited to wear one item of red clothing (with £1 donation) to support the cause. It would be greatly appreciated if you could support the week.
