Mayor’s Quiz Night
Get those thinking caps tightly on as the Mayor is holding his popular Quiz Night to help raise money for the Mayor’s Charity Appeal.
The quiz night will be held on Thursday 3rd March in Llanharry Workingman’s Club, Elm Road, Llanharry CF72 9HR.
All money raised on the night will go to the Mayor’s Charities which this year are Ty Hafan Children’s Hospice, Marie Curie, Pontyclun Bosom Pals, 2 Wish Upon A Star, Age Connect, Welsh Hearts and Eye to Eye Counselling.
The quizmaster will be Martin Jenkins and the questions will include a mix of general knowledge, music, sport and a picture round.
Mayor of Rhondda Cynon Taf, Cllr Barry Stephens, said: “The Mayor’s Quiz Night is always a popular event as it is a chance to have great fun while also raising money for good causes.
“Get your friends, family or work colleagues together to create a team and join us on the evening!”
There is a maximum of 6 players per team and teams will need to arrive at 7pm for a 7.30 start. There will be a buffet served at the interval. Tickets for the quiz will cost £5 per person.
