Congratulations to St John’s Year 7 6-a-side squad who are RCT Champions!

Congratulations to St John's Year 7 6-a-side squad who are RCT Champions!  Last Friday our players took part against 15 other teams in the newly formed RCT event and demonstrated fantastic character and skill in order to come away as the county champions.  After winning a tough group consisting of Y Pant, Llanhari, Mountain Ash and Ferndale we qualified for the quarter-finals.  A solid performance against Mountain Ash and then Tonyrefail in the semi-final booked our place in the final.  A group of very tired players exerted every last bit of energy to then defeat ACS in the final.  A lovely day was topped off with complements from other schools not only regarding our skill level but the excellent attitude of our players!
