Speaking ahead of a statement by the Welsh Government Finance Minister on Council Tax, Sam Rowlands MS, Shadow Minister for Finance, said:
“Plaid Cymru must cancel the planned council tax revaluation, scheduled for 2028, which will push households into higher bands and increase council tax bills at a time when families are already struggling with the cost of living.
“Plaid Cymru and Labour introduced the 2028 revaluation despite strong opposition from the Welsh Conservatives. We will always stand up for taxpayers.”
