Discussing the issues of Hirwaun, Penderyn and Rhigos

Hirwaun, Penderyn and Rhigos councillors met with 2 of our 3 Plaid Cymru Senedd Members, Heledd Fychan AS/MS and Sara Crowley – Plaid Cymru, to discuss the issues that are a concern for many residents.

Some of those issues included:

– RAAC in Hirwaun and Building Safety

– The noise of the A465 and old A465 road (between Trewaun and Rhigos roundabouts)

Cuts to school transport

– The Rhigos Primary School site

The future of trains to Hirwaun and Rhigos

Water issues in Penderyn

The battery energy storage system (BESS) planning application for Rhigos

Parish Road between Rhigos and Cwmgwrach

– The Nant-y-Bwlch watercourse

Our Senedd Members need to know your views on these issues. As councillors, we would like to know your experiences and gather everything we can from you so that Heledd, Sara and Lis (Lisbeth McLean AS/MS, Plaid Cymru) can best represent us in the Senedd.

It’s important that you share through e-mail. Please e-mail us both at:
