The Council will be hosting an event tomorrow for residents to find out more and ask questions about the ongoing flood alleviation work at Cardiff Road and Maes-y-Ffynon Lane in #Aberaman.
Work started in July to increase the drainage network capacity – including creating a pond area to store rainwater during heavy rainfall, and installation of new drainage infrastructure.

A public engagement event will now take place throughout the day on Wednesday, August 19, at the Sobell Leisure Centre in Aberdare.
Residents can drop-in at any time from 11am to 7pm, to speak directly with officers from the Council and the project contractor.
A 30-minute presentation will be held at 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm and 7pm – enabling residents to time their visit to the most convenient timeslot.
No prior booking is needed and everyone is welcome to attend!
