The Gorsedd Stones at Aberdare Park have been temporarily cordoned off after damage was identified during a recent inspection. As a precaution, the area has been fenced off while specialist advice is sought and further assessments are undertaken.
The Council recognises the historic and cultural importance of the stones and is committed to preserving them into the future. Repair and conservation options are now being investigated to ensure the site is protected and maintained appropriately.
The temporary fencing is purely a safety measure. We thank residents for their understanding while this work is carried out.
