Taxpayers have contributed so that the Council can allocate an initial £6.4 million for road and footway resurfacing this financial year (2026/27), with the programme up and running since April 2026 – as maintaining and improving our roads remains one of our biggest priorities.
The video below shows just some of the schemes we’ve completed in the past six weeks, as we’ll continue to make the most of the better weather in spring/summer to deliver the significant programme across Rhondda Cynon Taf communities. Thanks to the taxpayers, this is possible.
Continuing this effort over the month ahead, some of the upcoming resurfacing schemes will be at:
• Glamorgan Street, Meirion Street #Aberdare
• Cadwaladr Street, Woodland Road #MountainAsh
