Whilst the Safer Neighbourhood Team were patrolling Aberdare over the weekend officers’ attention was drawn to an off-road pit bike, being ridden onto a pavement, trying to evade police. Officers pursued the rider on foot and stopped him.
The off-road bike was seized, and following enquiries, Adam Evans, 29 from Aberdare was charged with drink driving, driving without insurance and driving without a license. He is due to appear before court in March.
This type of behaviour will not be tolerated. Officers will continue to take robust and proactive action against those who engage in anti-social and dangerous behaviour, particularly where it poses a risk to public safety.
