Leisure Lifestyle launches month long challenge for National Fitness Day

Leisure Lifestyle is celebrating National Fitness Day by launching a month long challenge designed to encourage people to develop positive habits and build a routine of regular exercise. The campaign runs across four weeks and gives participants the chance to earn an exclusive National Fitness Day T-shirt, as well as enter a prize draw for a year’s free membership.

To take part, simply complete three gym, swim, class or racquet sport sessions each week, and collect a stamp on your challenge card every time you attend. We have extended the first week so you have time to make a start. Complete three sessions before Sunday 5th October, then keep up with three sessions per week across the following weeks.

  • Week 1: 24th September to 5th October
  • Week 2: 6th to 12th October
  • Week 3: 13th to 19th October
  • Week 4: 20th to 26th October

Once your card is full, hand it in by Monday 27th October to claim your T-shirt. Each card will be checked and approved by staff, and T-shirts are limited to one per customer, subject to availability.

You can also power up your prize. Post a photo or reel wearing your winning T-shirt and tag us on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok using #PoweredByYou by Sunday 2nd November to enter a draw to win a year’s free membership.

National Fitness Day is an annual campaign led by ukactive that highlights the role physical activity plays across the UK. It raises awareness of the importance of being active and the benefits it can bring to healthier lifestyles. As a member of ukactive, we are proud to support this campaign locally by encouraging our community to get involved in whatever way they enjoy, and to build positive routines that last.

This challenge also supports our Sport and Active Recreation Strategy, which aims to make it easier for residents to be more active, and improve their wellbeing. Whether you enjoy swimming, working out in the gym, joining a class or playing a racquet sport, you can get involved in whatever way you enjoy, and build a routine that works for you.
