The Leader of the Council finally replied to my email this morning, but stressed the council โgoes above and beyondโ in providing Home to School Transport and that it is parents’ responsibility to get pupils to school (his words – not mine)
However, whatever we have been doing as a community is bringing about change and permission is being asked for pupils in years 7/8 to leave early (stagger finishing times) to ease the rush.
