Councillor for Aberaman, Tina Williams, is reporting that there’s a large sinkhole that has opened up on Fforchaman Road in Cwmaman, requiring an emergency road closure between the mini-roundabout and Neol Street. The road will be shut for the foreseeable future due to safety concerns.
Seek an alternative route while this section of road is closed.
Thank you to the Council’s out-of-hours team for investigating straight away. They’ll be back during normal working hours to look into what caused the sinkhole and to carry out the repairs needed to safely reopen the road.
