Detectives investigating the fatal shooting of a woman in Talbot Green, Rhondda Cynon Taf, on Sunday evening have arrested a further four people.
Despite the best efforts of emergency services, Joanne Penney, 40, died at the scene of the incident at an address in Llys Illtyd.
A 42-year-old man, arrested on Sunday, remains in police custody.
Last night, a further four people were arrested in Leicestershire in connection with the incident. They are currently in custody.
Officers are now appealing for information relating to two vehicles known to have travelled from the Leicester area to South Wales, before leaving shortly after the incident took place.
Those vehicles are a beige Nissan Note, registration BK61 ZDC, and a black Volvo XC40, registration FD24 PZF.
