A465 Section 5 and 6 Christmas and New Year Arrangements.

During the festive season please take note of the following information regarding the construction work:

• The majority of major works will stop on Monday 23 December 2024 and restart on Monday 6 January 2025
• Some works will continue during this period, with the exception of the public holidays
• Maintenance and traffic management crews will be working throughout
• We will continue to grit the road as needed
• All our sites will be secured
• Additional CCTV and physical security patrols will be in place 24/7
• Our Public Liaison Team, and Social Media accounts will be taking a break between Monday 23 December 2024 and Monday 6 January 2025
• Our public drop-in sessions at St Lleurwg’s Church Hall, Hirwaun will re-commence from Tuesday 07 January 2025 (09:00 to 12:30hrs) and then run fortnightly on Tuesdays.
• Our weekly Visitor Centre sessions in Cefn Coed re-commence from Thursday 09 January 2025 (13:00 to 16:30hrs) onwards.
