Cwmbach Community Wetlands Otters
We have had several incidents lately of people on the wetlands with hunting dogs, we think they are trying to hunt the otters. Today A River For All undertook a clean-up on the river after the storm and they have found a net across the river and camping chairs, again, likely to trap otters. The police are aware of this so please, if you see ANYTHING suspicious at all PLEASE ring the police ASAP.
Please DO NOT post it here or Cwmbach Community Wetlands for the committee to ring, we may not pick the messages up in time. Ringing at the time of the incident gives the police the best chance of catching whoever is doing this and the more calls that are logged, the more seriously the police can take it.
Our wetlands are to protect wildlife, not hunt, trap and destroy it and anyone caught doing so will be reported to the police and prosecuted for it.
