Labour’s re-education diversity training costs balloon to half a million a year

Commenting on a Welsh Conservative Written Question revealing the cost of ‘upskilling practitioners’ in diversity and anti-racist professional learning (DARPL) of £815,942 since 2022, having increased to nearly half a million per year in 2023/24, Andrew RT Davies MS, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives said:

“Wales’ schools and hospitals are crying out for cash, yet the Labour Welsh Government are prioritising this woke nonsense.

“At a time where Labour-run Wales’ education system is suffering substantial cuts and the steepest decline in results in the whole UK, cash for diversity training is rapidly rising.

“Left-wing politicians have focussed on pointless pet projects for too long, this money should be used to save Labour’s lost generation here in Wales.”
