Can you help South Wales Police after a man having been found unconscious and unresponsive on Duke Street, Aberdare.

We were called just after 2.30am this morning, Wednesday July 10, with a report of a man having been found unconscious and unresponsive on Duke Street, Aberdare.

Officers and paramedics attended, and he was transported to hospital where his condition is described as critical.

Detectives Inspector James Morris said: “We are actively investigating the circumstances and keeping an open mind about what may have happened.

“We need to hear from anyone who was in the area last night or the early hours of this morning and may have seen what happened.

“We’d also to speak to anyone who may have driven past the area and has dash cam footage, or nearby householders who may have doorbell camera recordings.”
