This is what you are voting for if you vote Labour on Thursday! Labour’s education cuts lead to teacher redundancies
Responding to the news that hundreds of school staff have been made redundant across Wales in continuing cuts which unions said will damage children’s education, Tom Giffard MS, Shadow Education Minister, said:
“It is deeply concerning that schools are being forced into taking such drastic action due to Labour’s mismanagement of the education budget.
“Over the past 25 years in charge of education Labour have overseen a decline in standards yet they have cut the education budget in real terms and cash terms.
“Labour’s record in Wales on education is a stark warning for the rest of the UK on what a Labour Government will look like in Westminster. The Welsh Conservatives would ensure schools can deliver the standards of education that our children deserve and save Labour’s lost generation.”
