Gething messages: An insult to bereaved families
Responding to reports that the Welsh Government has claimed it does not hold a record of the Ministerial group chat messages that Vaughan Gething said he would delete to avoid being captured by FOI, Andrew RT Davies MS, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives, said:
“The obfuscation by the Labour Welsh Government over COVID messages is an insult to bereaved families.
“Screenshots of these messages have been shared with journalists, so records of them still exist and they should be available to the COVID Inquiry.
“Labour Ministers should remember that these messages hold precious answers for families who lost loved ones during the pandemic.”
