Another Strategic Equality Plan by cwm Taf Health Board
Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board have come up with another Strategic Equality Plan (SEP) 2024-2028, does anyone believe things will change?
Following internal and external consultation, we are pleased to be able to share Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board’s (CTMUHB) Strategic Equality Plan (SEP) for 2024-2028.
Having a Strategic Equality Plan is a legal duty for Public Bodies in Wales and the plan forms part of our CTMUHB 2030: Our Health, Our Future Strategy. The SEP is also a key part of our People Priorities and ambition to create the conditions for everyone to thrive in a compassionate, inclusive and just culture.
The objectives of the plan will ensure understanding and accountability for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at CTMUHB. It is important that we embed EDI into everything we do. Valuing diversity and creating an inclusive environment allows us to build a workforce that better represents our communities, which in turn helps us to develop and deliver better services and will ultimately improve healthcare outcomes.
