Junior doctors across NHS Wales are taking industrial action next week, between 7am on Monday 25 March and 7am on Friday 29 March.
In preparing for these dates, we have been working to preserve as many services as possible to maintain patient safety, with minimal disruption.
If you are a patient with a pre-booked appointment or procedure in one of our hospitals during the strike period, you will be contacted directly by our booking team should your appointment be affected. If you are not contacted, please attend any booked appointments as normal.
Our emergency department and critical care services will continue to be available for the most serious and urgent patients, but please only attend our emergency departments if you are seriously ill or injured or if there is a risk to life.
Anyone requiring mental health support will have access to services as usual, as well as the 111 Press 2 facility.
Our focus remains on keeping our services safe during this time.
