Labour’s meddling in the justice system a pointless endeavour
Devolution of criminal justice to Wales – will it happen? Let’s hope not so far everything The Welsh Labour Government get involved with goes pear-shaped.
Following his Spokesperson contribution today in the Senedd, Mark Isherwood MS, Shadow Social Justice Minister, said:
“The Welsh Government have wasted far too much time and resources on devolution of Policing to Wales.
“The Labour Government continues to meddle in the justice system in Wales, making decisions that have a direct negative impact on crime prevention and budgets.
“A pointless and wasteful endeavour as both the UK Conservative Government and Labour’s Shadow Welsh Secretary Jo Stephens have rejected calls for the Welsh Government to be given control of policing and adult criminal justice.”
