Traffic arrangements for Pontypridd bingo hall redevelopment
Please be advised about the upcoming traffic arrangements for the Pontypridd bingo hall redevelopment.
The current filter lane closure on Sardis Road (right turn to Graig) will be lifted by the end of the day on Friday, March 1.
The diversion route for motorists via A470/Sainsbury’s roundabout will therefore end, while the pedestrian island near the railway station will be brought back into use.
Then from Monday, March 4, the lane nearest the work site – and the footway next to the site – will be closed until further notice.
Pedestrians will be diverted via the crossing point at Sardis House, along the footway on the opposite side of Sardis Road, and to the pedestrian island opposite the railway station.
These temporary arrangements are essential to ensure safety for pedestrians, motorists and the contractor’s workforce.
