Detective Inspector Owain Morrison said: “It has been two months now since Ricky was originally reported as missing. Ricky, aged 31, was last seen on CCTV at around 2.20pm on Saturday afternoon, 18th November, in Maes-Y-Deri, Aberdare.

“Following our previous appeals and continued investigative enquiries by detectives, a number of people have come forward which has given us vital information to help piece together what may have happened to Ricky. All reported sightings and information from the public have been followed up.

“I know lots of the local community of Aberdare have been asking for updates, and whilst we want to be as responsive as possible, our priority is focusing on finding Ricky,

“We are continuing our search to find him, and officers are still conducting enquiries to find Ricky. This includes extensive searches carried out by our specialist search teams as part of our investigation.

“Ricky’s family have been supported throughout by specially trained officers and continue to be supported and they have been kept informed about all aspects of our search to find Ricky.

“We have significant concerns for Ricky’s well-being, and I am asking anyone who may have seen or spoken to Ricky in the days or weeks leading up to him going missing on the 18th November, or anyone with any other information regarding his whereabouts, to contact us.”
