Labour drag their feet on transport infrastructure
Responding to the news that a major new railway station which was planned to open in 2024 will once again go before planners who will decide if work can even get started, Natasha Asghar MS, Shadow Transport Minister, said:
“Further delays and cancellations of transport infrastructure is becoming common place for Labour.
“The Labour Welsh Government’s war on motorists, from their blanket 20mph speed limits to their road building freeze, has left many needing to make use of public transport, yet the infrastructure is not in place.
“Welsh Conservatives would boost Welsh connectivity and make Labour’s delays a thing of the past.”
