This could be your Nan, granddad, mam, dad or even sibling!!! Say no to these cuts
Below was taken from Facebook slightly adjusted.
Rhondda Cynon Taf Council are pulling the plug on their care at-home service for the most vulnerable clients and people in our valley !!! They have told them to seek out private care companies !!!
This is another blow to these very vulnerable people in our society after Meals on Wheels has also closed their kitchens and has also gone to another private company which in turn I think food is below par with half the portions and to be honest rubbish for £5 a meal !!!
So please sign I’m sure there are other places RCT can cut their budget instead of hitting these poor & elderly people !!
This could be your Nan, granddad, mam, dad or even sibling!!! Say no to these cuts

Requesting to privatise all long-term care within Rhondda Cynon Taff.

Our community is at risk. The care services that we, and our loved ones, depend on are being privatised in Rhondda Cynon Taff. This issue is personal to me because I believe in care, not profit.
Privatisation often leads to a focus on cost-cutting measures rather than quality of service. A study by the Centre for Health and the Public Interest found that between 2010 and 2017, £831 million of NHS money was given to private providers as profit (Centre for Health and the Public Interest). That’s money which could have been invested back into improving our healthcare services.
We cannot stand by while our local care services are sold off to the highest bidder. We need your support to prevent this from happening in Rhondda Cynon Taff.
Please sign this petition today and join us in saying no to the privatisation of care services in our community. Together, we can make a difference!
