Welsh Labour Government bunker given £23 million makeover paid for by taxpayers
Commenting on the news that over the last 5 financial years, £14,057,637 has been spent upgrading and refurbishing the Labour-run Welsh Government’s offices at Cathays Park and a further £8,922,538 spent on repair and maintenance, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives, Andrew RT Davies MS said:
“With school buildings and hospitals desperately needing money spent on them here in Wales, voters will be angry at this £23 million makeover to Welsh Labour ministers’ offices in Cardiff. Welsh Labour clearly have their priorities wrong and need to get a grip.
“Not only do Welsh Labour ministers seem happy to upgrade their offices while hospitals and schools fall down here in Wales, but they also want to create 36 more politicians at a cost of £120 million to the Welsh taxpayer.”
