Up to a quarter of bus services in Wales will be cut
Labour and Plaid letting down bus services for all the wrong reasons
Commenting on the news that up to a quarter of bus services in Wales will be cut if operators fail to get further long-term government funding from the Welsh Government, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives, Andrew RT Davies MS said:
“Bus services in Wales provide a crucial service, with people dependent on them for work, leisure, and medical appointments. The reduction in bus services will have a massive impact on those who rely upon them.
“With Labour and Plaid Cymru cutting bus services whilst pursuing their anti-car agenda and reducing public transport at the same time is nothing short of moronic. If you’re a millionaire in Wales you get your kid fed for free, but if you’re on welfare you can’t get a bus to work because of bus cuts.”
